Effective 1 April 2023, the Association will no longer provide service to those properties that are serviced with above ground service water lines. It is the responsibility of those property owners currently serviced with above ground service water lines to assume the responsibility and financial expense of installing below ground service lines, pipes and valves between the existing curb stop valve and the dwelling to ensure conformance with current Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection standards and Association standards (specifically, service lines must be no less than 48 inches below ground surface). All installations and repairs must be inspected and approved by a representative of the Association before service is reinstated. The Association can assist affected homeowners in identifying licensed contractors who can perform the required work.
